Infrastructure Improvement 2013 - 2018, $750,000
In 2013, the National Science Foundation awarded an RII Track-3 grant, Framing the Chemistry Curriculum (#1348382), to develop a sustainable two-semester chemistry course sequence. Mark Griep, a professor of chemistry at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) was the principal investigator. In this work, case studies became laboratory modules that integrate with other STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) learning for broader impacts.
